Competencies
The Sector for Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Information Management (4KUI) performs duties in connection with establishing an interoperable communication system and with information management and computer technology, which pertains to the communications and information management in the whole defense system of BiH.
The 4KUI Sector consists of the following internal organizational units:
a) Department for standardization and communication security
Plans and organizes the standardization and communication security system, ensuring compatibility between the systems at the Ministry of Defense of BiH and the Armed Forces of BiH.
b) Department for information management
Plans and coordinates tasks related to building, management and utilization of information systems and information resources within the defense structures of BiH.
c) Department for telecommunications and IT support
It is in charge of planning and coordination of tasks related to procurement of equipment and software; implementation, maintenance and administration of telecommunication and information systems and resources needed for the defense structures of BiH.
