Deputy Minister of Defence of BiH Participated on Regional Conference in Bitolj – Macedonia
The delegation of the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, headed by the Deputy Minister of Defence of BiH, Mrs Marina Pendes, attended the Regional conference on NATO integration of the Southeastern Europe countries and the future perspectives, in Bitolj –Macedonia, from May 31st to June 2nd 2010.
The aim of the conference is to promote cooperation between NATO and countries of the region, then to promote the extension of the reforms in order to fulfill membership criteria, as well as to strengthen the efforts of Southeastern Europe countries through the exchange of opinions, experiences and good practical solutions.
During the conference, the Deputy Minister of Defence of BiH, Mrs Marina Pendes, met with the Ministries of Defence of Albania, Montenegro, Croatia, Macedonia, Slovenia and Turkey, as well as with the Secretary of the Ministry of Defence of Serbia.
