Minister of Defence of BiH at the International Workshop on Global Security in Berlin – FR of Germany
Minister of Defence of Bosnia and Herzegovina, dr Selmo Cikotic, participated in the 27th International Workshop on Global Security, on the theme « Global security – increasing challenges «, from June 4th to June 7th 2010 in Berlin – FR of Germany.
The Ministries of Defence, Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Government representatives and the representatives of UN, as well as other diplomats, military commanders and academic experts from more than 40 countries of the world participated in the Workshop, which has been organised for the fifth time in Berlin.
Military threat was not the only topic discussed at the meeting. Various hazards, such as poverty, trafficking in drugs, arms and human trafficking, as well as natural disasters, as floods and earthquakes, which have been endangering the world in recession and global security, were also a matter of discussion.
