Meeting of the NATO Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly and the Representatives of the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of BiH
The representatives of the Ministry of Defence of BiH and the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of BiH held the meeting with NATO delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly, headed by Sverre Myrli, the Chairman of the Committee on Defence and Safety of NATO Parliamentary Assembly, which took place in Sarajevo, on June 23rd 2010.
The part of the delegation of NATO Parliamentary Assembly was the members of the Committee on Defence and Security, as well as the members of the Regular Committee of NATO Parliamentary Assembly.
The Deputy Ministers of Defence of BiH, Mrs Marina Pendes and Zivko Marjanac, as well as the Chief of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of BiH, Lt General Miladin Milojcic, and his Deputy, General Major Slavko Puljic, attended the meeting, representing the delegation of the Ministry of Defence of BiH and the Armed Forces of BiH.
The representatives of the MoD of BiH and the AF of BiH, met the guests with the current activities performed in order to fulfill MAP conditions, as well as with the news about the transfer of military property, transition of military personnel and with construction of the very important document called « Defence Summary «, as well as with the military participation of BiH in ISAF mission.
The guests expressed their support for all the efforts made by the Defence institutions of BiH in order to gain a membership into NATO.
