Members of the Armed Forces of BiH left for Afghanistan to join the ISAF Mission
Pursuant to the Decision of the Presidency of BiH on participation of the members of the Armed Forces of BiH in the International Security Assistance Forces Mission (ISAF) in Afghanistan, a group of 8 (eight) officers of the AF BiH has been deployed with this Mission, who have left Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The officers of the AF BiH shall remain with the Mission for six months, and will be deployed under the FR Germany Armed Forces Contingent in the Regional Command North region.
The officers who have been deployed with the Mission had previously completed the Peace Support Operation training, implemented at the Training Center in Grafenwohr, FR Germany. The training was conducted under the scope of the training of the German Contingent deployed with the same Mission.
