The Deputy Minister of Defence of BiH, Mrs Marina Pendes, accepted the visit from Adjutant General of the National Guard of Maryland, Brigadier General James Adkins, on July 1st 2010.

The representatives of the Ministry of Defence of BiH and the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of BiH held the meeting with NATO delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly, headed by Sverre Myrli, the Chairman of the Committee on Defence and Safety of NATO Parliamentary Assembly, which took place in Sarajevo, on June 23rd 2010.

Delegation of the Ministry of Defence of Bosnia and Herzegovina, headed by the Minister of Defence of BiH, dr Selmo Cikotic, attended the meeting of Ministers of Defence of non-NATO countries, participated in ISAF mission in Afghanistan, which took place in NATO Headquarters in Brussels, on June 11th 2010.

The Deputy Minister of Defence of BiH, Mrs Marina Pendes, participated in the special meeting, called « Understanding the Benefits of Involving Women in Security «, which was organised by OSCE, on June 7th 2010 in Vienna – the Republic of Austria.

Minister of Defence of Bosnia and Herzegovina, dr Selmo Cikotic, participated in the 27th International Workshop on Global Security, on the theme « Global security – increasing challenges «, from June 4th to June 7th 2010 in Berlin – FR of Germany.

The delegation of the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, headed by the Deputy Minister of Defence of BiH, Mrs Marina Pendes, attended the Regional conference on NATO integration of the Southeastern Europe countries and the future perspectives, in Bitolj –Macedonia, from May 31st to June 2nd 2010.

Minister of Defence of BiH, dr Selmo Cikotic, signed the Protocol between the Ministry of Defence of BiH and the Ministry of Defence of the PR of China on Military Security Donation to Bosnia and Herzegovina, on May 26th 2010. The undersigned on behalf of the People's Republic of China is the Ambassador of the PR of China in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nj.E. Liu Wenxin.

And this year, under the motto « The Sign of Cross, the Sign of Life «, the Catholic religious servants of the Ministry of Defence of BiH, the members of the Armed Forces of BiH and civilian employees of the AF of BiH, were on a pilgrimage to international Marian sanctuary Lourdes (France) for eleventh time in the period from May 18th to May 25th 2010.

NATO country members promised Bosnia and Herzegovina 4,6 million euros in the period from 2010 to 2012, for the purpose of providing the aim for the return into civilian life to those memebers of the AF of BiH, who will be dismissed in the current tranformation.

Within the framework of the visit to the Ministry of Defence of BiH and the Armed Forces of BiH in the barracks « Rajlovac of the AF of BiH », the delegation of the State Department, headed by The Deputy of the State Secretary Assistant for Plans, Programmes and Operations, Brigadier General Thomas J. Masiello, attended weapons destruction activities by using a tank, on May 13th 2010.
